Dear Central Church,

During this Easter season, we continue to proclaim the good news of the empty tomb: “He is risen, indeed!” Because of Jesus’ victory over death, we live with a deep and abiding hope that changes everything.

Here are a few things I’m celebrating with you:

1. KidCentral Preschool Campaign
Last Sunday, we received additional commitments to this initiative, bringing our total to $93,000 in pledged support. This is incredibly encouraging. We still need $57,000 to fully fund our start-up costs, and we are moving forward trusting the Lord to provide.

If you’re ready to help close that gap, I invite you to make a commitment—either by clicking here or by filling out a commitment card during worship this Sunday. These funds will help us complete key upgrades to our preschool space, including a new playground and a safe, welcoming environment for children and families.

2. High School Senior Recognition
This Sunday, we’ll recognize 12 graduating seniors from our youth ministry. Many of these students have been part of our church for years, and it will be a joy to honor and pray for them. Be sure to stop by their tables downstairs to congratulate them and encourage them as they take their next steps.

3. Communion Sunday
We’ll also gather at the Lord’s Table this Sunday. Though this is a regular rhythm on the first Sunday of the month, we are reminded that we are one in Christ—people from different stories and backgrounds, united by His presence. Jesus is alive, and He meets us here.

I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday and celebrating the life-giving community we share in Christ.

With Resurrection Hope,
Pastor Mark
