Costa Rica

January 16th - 24th, 2027

Cost: $1,800

We will be working alongside the Sarapiqui congregation to construct a new church building in the beautiful northern part of Costa Rica. Our team will be hosted by our wonderful missionaries Kristin and Robert Encarnacion!

Brazil

March 13th - 20th, 2027

Estimated Cost: $2,000

We will be participating in a variety of meaningful activities, including church renovation projects, education and health-related programs, evangelism, and discipleship ministries. The trip will involve traveling on a boat through the majestic Rio Negro in the Amazon region to the town of Novo Airao. This project is ideal for individuals, families, church groups, healthcare professionals, educators, and anyone with a heart for missions and service!

Missionaries: Angel & Krista Sigui

Angel, Krista, Samuel, Joel, and Grace have called Central Church their home and currently live in Quito, Ecuador. They serve as Nazarene Missions Teams coordinators for the South America region. Angel serves as the director of Nazarene International Language Institute (NILI). Here is the link to their missions page on the Nazarene global website!

Costa Rica

Missionaries: Roberto and Kristin Encarnacion

Roberto was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Growing up, he loved meeting and volunteering with the mission teams that served and helped in his community. He is excited to facilitate Nazarene mission teams to show the compassion and love for Christ that he once experienced.

Kristin is originally from Texas. She earned her BS in elementary education from SNU, but after teaching for a few years, she knew God was calling her in a deferent direction. This led her to Nazarene Theological Seminary where she earned her MA in Intercultural Studies. She has loved serving as the NMI president at her local church over the last few years.

Kristin and Roberto met at a regional Nazarene event in Panama in 2012 and married in 2014. They currently serve in San Jose, Costa Rica as the mission teams coordinators. They have two kids, Elijah and Isabella. They enjoy serving as a family
